High School Football on KAHI! See Below.  
Note:   The 11th ranked Placer Hillmen have had their game against Bethel moved to Saturday.   KAHI will carry it live on AM 950, and www.kahi.com.
 
Del Oro's Battle at the Capital features Colfax vs. Durham (near Chico) at 6 pm.
Aptos takes on Del Campo at 8:30.
 
Saturday, Christian Brothers vs. St. Mary's of Berkeley at 11 am, at 2 pm it's Central Catholic vs. Cardinal Newman of Santa Rosa, Concord takes on Whitney at 5 PM, and at 8, Bullard of Fresno takes on the host and 4th ranked Del Oro Golden Eagles.
 
 
Last Friday Night Results...Zero Week:    
Placer, Lincoln, Colfax and Bear River served notice that the PVL is strong this year, as they all racked up wins on the first night of the season.
 
Placer beat Vallejo 48-13 as Josh Turney rushed for three touchdowns and Brad Spangler added two more.   Placer built a 34-6 halftime lead, played their reserves in the 4th quarter, and took a knee near Vallejo's goal line to end of the game. Placer looks very strong, and will take on a strong Bethel High squad in Vallejo next Friday night. KAHI will carry the game live beginning at 7:00.
